From x.y.r.’s absolutely stunning debut album, robinson crusoe (lost soundtrack), the ship recovered gives us a good idea of why this debut is so great. Pairing field recordings with echoed synthesizers and lush textures, this track, along with the rest on this album, creates a thick atmosphere that can hold on to you for hours. Being just the right amounts dreamy and sunny, it’s a beautiful track.
